First travel as the Fellow
Come Wednesday night, I will embark on my first official travel as the 2014 Jack Hobbs McConnell Travelling Fellow.
First port of call is Melbourne.
Victoria is years (maybe even a decade) ahead of South Australia and is delivering multistory buildings using prefab & modular construction methodology. I will be meeting with Modscape (www.modscape.com.au), ARKit (www.arkit.com.au), Damien Crough (formally of Hickory & Unitised Building) and Fender Katsilidis (www.fkaustralia.com).
I will also be attending the 2015 National Architecture Conference 'Risk' from May 14-16
From there I am on to Vietnam, China (as part of the Premier's delegation to Shendong) and Singapore with Deptartment of State Development Staff.
